Updating your Social Media Profile

Setting up your profile for success puts you ahead of the rest!


Your social media is like a live business card. When someone comes to your page for the first time they should be able to listen/read your story, understand the key product lines, have an overview of the business opportunity, learn about frequently asked questions and HOW they can shop without even needing to message you! 

On all your social media platforms do the following...

Update your Profile Picture and Name. Change your profile picture to a picture of YOUR FACE (just you). Your name should include your actual name somehow.


Make this no longer than 4 lines. It should include highlight topics, classifications, and passions that describe you - think of 4 things you want to share on social media. Think of WHO you are, WHAT is important and WHAT makes you YOU! This will help new eyes with common interests connect and want to get to know you. You can include that you are an Arbonne Consultant. Simply state you are a consultant/fizz dealer and where in the comp plan you are as it relates to a % (for example "Arbonne top 35%" when you promote to District Manager).


Here are some examples:


  • Real talk, health & wellness, levelling up, sober living mama
  • Single mom, messy bun, Arbonne top 6%, country living
  • Boy mom, biz owner, empowerment, Arbonne top 1%
  • Wellness, motherhood, business, relationships
  • SAHM, baking from scratch, country + garden living, Top 3% @arbonne
  • Holistic practitioner, CEO on the go, mama life, label reader
  • Mama x 3, healthy living, real life, living my best sober life
  • Simplified health, mama x 5, top 3% @arbonne, kid humour


Linktree is a free service that allows you to create a bio link with websites, documents, and shopping links that are pre-saved. This will allow people who find your social an opportunity to click, learn and shop! There are several other companies that offer the same service. Pick whichever you prefer.


Create a Linktree that includes:

  • Your Arbonne website (yourfirstnamelastname.arbonne.com) eg: clairemckay.arbonne.com
  • A recommended cart for the GreenSynergy Elixir and other fav product lines
  • And any other links that you are want to share
  • Remember to offer value when possible


Highlights the bubbles under an your profile. They are a great way for people to learn more about you, your business and the products! Post the following to your stories and then save them as a highlight:


  • Your story
  • My biz
  • Fav Products
  • Testimonials
  • Family
  • Travel, etc


As you share in your stories (remember they delete after 24 hours but you can go into your "archive" and find old ones) throughout your journey you can continue to add pieces to your highlights. I would recommend checking out some of your Arbonne sidelines highlights for inspiration.


You can pin up to 3 POSTS/REELS which means they will always show at the top of your page! You should pin at least 2:


  1. Business Overview
  2. Who you are

Create 30 Days of Content in 30 Minutes

Additional Information:

  • If you don't already have 10,000 + followers - Look at your social media strategy in 90-day chunks. This might be the first time in your social media life you've been consistent. It's perfectly normal to feel like you're not getting as much engagement & new followers as you'd like in those first 90 days. I can't stress enough that there is nothing wrong! Your audience needs to continue and continue to see you show up, offer value, be relatable, etc. over longer periods of time. Every content creator started with 0 followers and through time and consistent effort has created an account with natural engagement and a massive following. You will get there too - so just keep showing up following the 30 days of consistent content video.
  • Use your Social media as a business card so when someone comes to your page, they can feel like they can get to know you and become your friend.
  • DO NOT only share about Arbonne, How do people get to know you? They get to know multiple sides of you! You do not need to share everything about your life, but using your social media is a journey to share and document things you are passionate about or interested in. 
  • Face before flyers - again people want to get to know YOU! Flyers are great and serve a purpose, but give an overview of what you're going to share or highlight before you share to humanize what you are talking about and why someone should read/listen.

Reminder:

It's great to get inspiration from others but remember you should only compare yourself to YOU - comparison to others is the thief of you.


People want to hear YOUR story and will be inspired by YOU! So show up as your true authentic self!

Create your Content:

5 Types of Content:

  1. Short-form videos (reels/TikTok)
  2. Live videos
  3. Stories
  4. Written posts with photos
  5. Colourblock posts (FB)


If you're posting 5 days/week mix it up, and use all the content types. The goal is to diversify your content.

  • What is a tip or a hack you can teach that you've learned that you can share?
  • Share a story or experience from your life that has a lesson or teaching moment that you can share.
  • Search for something you've learned about gut health from Dr. Tanda Cook.
  • Teach something you've learned about starting an online business.
  • Share your results and teach something you've learned that will help others get results.

  • What is your favourite type of music?
  • Love to travel? share your favourite trips.
  • Are you a parent? share about your family.
  • What is something controversial that you love? share it.
